Negar Molazadeh, MD

Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Negar is a postdoctoral research fellow in TNRC Lab, Brigham and Women's Hospital. She graduated from medical school in Iran, and subsequently joined Tehran University of Medical Sciences' MS Research Center as a research fellow and MS ward physician. There, she studied MS risk factors among pediatric patients and diverse ethnic groups.

In 2021, she joined the Neuroimmunology Research Laboratory at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, as a postdoctoral fellow studying the progression independent of relapses in NMOSD and MOGAD, as well as predictors of relapsing disease course in MOGAD patients.

Her primary research interests include understanding disease progression in MS, NMOSD, and MOGAD, identifying biomarkers associated with MS progression, and exploring MRI characteristics of these diseases using ultra-high field 7T MRI. She is passionate about teaching medicine, promoting education equality, and raising awareness about neuroimmune disorders.

Beyond medicine, she enjoys traveling, working out, cooking, and reading.
