Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Rohit Patel has completed his Ph.D. from Central University of Gujarat, Gandhinagar, India. His doctoral work was focused on endothelial cell dysfunction and atherosclerosis which was funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. He is also the recipient of a research fellowship by the CSIR-UGC, Government of India. After his Ph.D., he joined University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, USA as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow. He is joining Dr. Chitnis’s laboratory at Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow and is interested in exploring the immune cell function in patients with multiple sclerosis. He is an enthusiastic researcher and loves exploring and learning new things. Out of the lab, he enjoys playing badminton, volleyball, table tennis and cooking variety of dishes.
