Saoirse Nolan, BSc

Research Assistant

Saoirse graduated in May of 2025 from Sarah Lawrence College (Bronxville, NY) with a bachelor’s degree concentrating in neuroscience and music. She joined the TNRC in July of 2025 as a technical research assistant for the CLIMB study. During her undergraduate studies, she interned as a research assistant in several labs, including the Woolf Lab at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School’s FM Kirby Neurobiology Center, the Phillips Toro Lab of the Sarah Lawrence Biology Department, and the Siegelbaum Lab at Columbia University’s Zuckerman Mind Brain Behavior Institute. At the Siegelbaum Lab, she aided in research on social fear memory of the hippocampus utilizing mice as a model organism. Saoirse plans to pursue an MD/PhD in the future. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her cats, Kitty and Franklin, playing violin, hiking, doing HIIT workouts, movies, and the TV show Bob’s Burgers.
